Sr. Manager, Warehouse & Fulfillment Operations
Faherty is a family-run lifestyle and apparel brand seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Warehouse Operations to lead their global fulfillment and distribution strategy. Responsibilities
Define and execute the overall warehouse strategy across short, mid, and long term planning horizons
Shape the future state of the warehouse and fulfillment network to support business growth, channel expansion, and service expectations
Lead network evaluation and partner selection initiatives including RFPs, contract negotiations, and onboarding of new 3PL partners
Assess capacity, geography, and operating models to ensure the network is scalable, resilient, and cost effective
Own the operational relationship with all domestic and international 3PL partners
Establish and manage SLAs, KPIs, and performance standards across warehouse operations
Lead regular business reviews focused on service, cost, throughput, inventory accuracy, and continuous improvement
Drive accountability and corrective action plans to address performance gaps
Own daily distribution operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and outbound shipping
Ensure consistent execution during peak periods and high volume events
Drive labor efficiency and throughput optimization in partnership with warehouse operators
Translate sales and channel forecasts into warehouse capacity, labor, and throughput plans
Lead capacity planning to ensure facilities and partners are prepared for seasonal and long term demand
Identify operational risks and constraints and implement mitigation plans in advance
Own the warehouse and 3PL operating budget including labor, storage, fulfillment, and value added services
Optimize spend through improved labor planning, process improvements, and network efficiencies
Partner with Finance to track performance against budget and identify cost reduction opportunities
Own inventory control, accuracy, and compliance across all warehouse locations
Ensure strong operational controls across receiving, storage, cycle counting, and inventory movement
Drive continuous improvement in inventory accuracy to support planning, fulfillment, and financial integrity
Own the WMS and related warehouse systems including reporting, enhancements, and process alignment
Partner with Technology teams on system improvements, integrations, and new capabilities
Develop and maintain reporting to track service levels, labor efficiency, throughput, and cost performance
Lead strategic initiatives focused on process improvement, system enhancement, and cost reduction
Advance pre pack, cross dock, and value added service strategies to improve speed and efficiency
Champion a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement across warehouse partners
Oversee international warehouse and 3PL operations including global storage, replenishment, and fulfillment strategies
Ensure international operations support growth, service goals, and inventory flow requirements
Qualification
Required
Minimum 6 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment operations
Proven experience managing warehouse operations and 3PL partners
Strong understanding of DTC, retail, and wholesale omnichannel fulfillment environments
Proven experience designing multi channel warehouse operating models that improve efficiency and scalability, including pre packing, carton level storage, and other channel optimized fulfillment strategies
Demonstrated experience with capacity
Hands on experience with WMS platforms, operational reporting, and KPI management
Strong financial acumen with experience owning operational budgets
Ability to lead through influence and operational authority
Strategic builder with a strong operational foundation
Data driven decision maker with a continuous improvement mindset
Comfortable owning outcomes in a complex, multi partner environment
Strong communicator who can influence and align external partners
