Responsibilities

Under general supervision, identify and collaborate with IT to mitigate critical vulnerabilities, ensuring successful remediation
Partner with IT to conduct regular meetings on vulnerabilities, associated risks, and remediation actions
Duties involve researching vulnerabilities, including new zero-day threats, and analyzing remediation strategies
Track threat actors' tactics and assist in preparing updated remediation plans for key contacts, maintaining the organization's security posture

Required

Must be currently enrolled as a student at University of South Florida or University of Tampa pursuing a degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or Risk Management from an accredited college or university
Must have working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with credit union personnel
Must be able to work independently
Must be able to learn complex security concepts or software with minimal supervision

Preferred

Successful completion of a Network Security course preferred
