The Electrical Engineering Intern will work with the Engineering Manager and Director of Operations to create a project list addressing immediate business requirements for manufacturing processes, assist in the design and development of electrical systems, and support new engineering projects.

Troubleshooting of electronic components, including component obsolescence support
Product and process improvement as related to electro-mechanical systems
Support roll-out of new engineering projects as related to product specifications
Assist in the design and development of electrical/electronic systems
Perform other duties as assigned or needed to support AMETEK, Inc.’s Mission Statement and company goals
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. Individuals must be able to present and discuss project plans, requirements, test results, etc. in a team based work environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
The employee frequently is required to sit and occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch
The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Preferred
Project Management experience a plus
Exposure to LEAN methodologies
Experience with ERP system (Oracle)
