Water/Wastewater Project Manager

They are seeking a Project Manager specializing in municipal water/wastewater engineering to support clients in various engineering tasks, including funding acquisition, design assessments, and project management.

Responsibilities
Perform engineering design for municipal water supply infrastructure, including pipelines, pump stations, storage tanks, well sites, and related facilities
Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling using tools such as HEC‑RAS, HEC‑HMS, HEC‑FDA, InfoWater, and other industry‑standard software
Prepare technical calculations, design drawings, specifications, and engineering reports to support project deliverables
Lead or contribute to feasibility studies, alternatives analyses, and preliminary engineering evaluations for water, wastewater, and flood control projects
Participate in field investigations, site assessments, and data collection efforts to support engineering analysis and design
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet project goals, regulatory requirements, and client expectations
Manage overall project delivery, ensuring work is completed on time, within scope, and aligned with client needs and expectations
Coordinate and manage subconsultants, ensuring their work is integrated into the overall project plan and meets quality standards
Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities to support successful execution
Provide direction and support to staff engineers and assist senior engineers and project managers with task delegation and oversight
Maintain a strong record of successful project performance, contributing to repeat business with municipal clients
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, supporting relationship management and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle
Actively participate in relevant professional organizations to enhance technical knowledge, industry visibility, and professional development
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
PE Registration in Oregon or the ability to obtain an Oregon License within 1 year
10+ years of experience in the civil engineering field
Potable water treatment experience
