Akkodis is seeking an Adobe Experience Manager for a Contract with a client in New York, NY. The role involves designing and developing enterprise-grade solutions using Adobe Experience Manager while contributing to modern web application enhancements.

Responsibilities

Develop and enhance AEM components, templates, and workflows using AEM 6.4+ and advanced Java concepts
Implement integrations using REST/SOAP services while ensuring efficient backend connectivity and data handling
Build responsive UI features using HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery, and modern frameworks like Angular or React
Optimize application performance by refining SQL/PLSQL queries and managing interactions with relational databases such as SQL Server or Sybase
Utilize CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Gradle to support automated builds, deployments, and development workflows
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment, contributing to sprint activities, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required

Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a closely related technical field

Candidate must have practical experience working with SQL Server or Sybase databases, modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery, Angular/React), and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Bitbucket
