Responsibilities
Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control steps, and/or emergency response activities as directed
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, building interiors, parking areas, and perimeter routes, noting unusual activity or conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access
Monitor alarms, cameras, and other systems as assigned, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and policy violations through approved communication channels
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public responders when needed
Complete detailed shift activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and support badge, key, and visitor credential processes per site policy
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
