Responsibilities
Define architectural vision and solution architecture aligned with business strategy and enterprise technology standards
Partner with business and technology teams to create solution intent and architectural direction
Design system landscapes, including primary systems, subsystems, integrations, and operating environments
Define and ensure non-functional requirements such as security, performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability
Lead rapid architecture design and evolve solutions as business requirements emerge
Collaborate with Product Managers/Owners to plan and prioritize architecture runway and technology backlog items
Evaluate the impact of strategic design decisions and recommend best-fit solutions
Conduct design and architecture reviews to ensure solutions are fit for purpose
Work with internal teams and external vendors/service providers to support delivery
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
10+ years of experience in Banking or Financial Services technology
Broad IT experience across financial software, middleware, and databases
Strong understanding of enterprise and solution architecture principles
Experience translating complex technical concepts into architectural views for diverse audiences
Ability to lead and contribute to automation, causal analysis, and shared solution development
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience working in Waterfall and Agile SDLC methodologies
