Responsibilities
Analyze and translate reporting requirements across multiple business domains into scalable BI solutions
Design, build, and optimize BI reports and dashboards following best practices for usability, performance, and reliability
Configure and manage report security, ensuring appropriate user access and data governance
Develop high‑performance, flexible BI data models to support analytics and reporting needs
Create and maintain Tableau data extracts, pass‑through queries, and other data assets required for reporting
Evaluate existing dimensional data models for reporting suitability and recommend enhancements
Partner closely with BI Leads, DBAs, and ETL development teams to ensure alignment and data consistency
Provide ongoing operational support to ensure availability, accuracy, and performance of reports and dashboards
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in data-centric design and development, with emphasis on BI, reporting, and analytics
3+ years of experience architecting, designing, and building enterprise reporting solutions using Tableau
3+ years of experience working with DevOps technologies (e.g., Jenkins, Rancher) and supporting CI/CD pipelines
Hands‑on experience optimizing the performance of complex Tableau workbooks, visualizations, and dashboards using large datasets
Proficiency with Linux/Unix command-line environments and version control tools (e.g., Git)
Strong understanding of relational and non‑relational databases, data systems, and data warehouse architectures
Advanced SQL skills and deep knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data management systems
Experience with scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or equivalent
Experience working with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
Ability to interpret data models and translate them into effective reporting structures
Strong communication skills, with ability to collaborate with business partners to understand reporting and analytical needs
Understanding of financial markets, including derivatives and derivative instruments
Familiarity with SDLC methodologies, including Waterfall, Lean, and Agile
