Mid LevelEnvision Technology Solutions is looking for a Hardware Validation Engineer with strong Python automation skills to validate storage hardware and develop automated test frameworks. Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute hardware validation test plans for storage devices (SSD/HDD)
Perform functional, performance, stress, endurance, and reliability testing of storage hardware
Develop and maintain Python-based automation frameworks for test execution, data collection, and reporting
Validate storage interfaces and protocols such as SATA, SAS, NVMe, PCIe
Analyze test results, identify failures, perform root cause analysis, and debug hardware/software issues
Work closely with hardware design, firmware, and system teams to resolve issues
Automate regression testing and improve test coverage and efficiency
Create and maintain test documentation, reports, and validation sign-offs
Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality benchmarks
Qualification
Required
Strong experience in hardware validation / testing
Proficiency in Python scripting and automation
Solid understanding of storage technologies – SSD, HDD
Hands-on experience with storage protocols: SATA, SAS, NVMe, PCIe
Knowledge of Linux OS, shell scripting, and command-line tools
Experience with test equipment, logging tools, and debug utilities
Understanding of system-level architecture and hardware-software interaction
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
