Responsibilities
Designing scalable, secure and reliable software architecture
Solving complex technical problems
Guiding leadership and mentoring peers on technical aspects
Improve operational excellence within the team
Design, implement and deliver software systems end-to-end
Have significant influence on our overall strategy by helping define these product features, drive the system architecture, and spearhead the best practices that enable a quality product
Responsible for solving algorithmically complex problems; building services that can scale to millions of requests and deployed globally delivering an exceptional customer experience
Use advanced technologies and GenAI capabilities to improve Amazon Q Developer experience
Working with a group of top-notch software developers and applied scientists, seasoned product and program managers, and creative visual designers who form a great team to raise the bar on the customer experience
Qualification
Required
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
Preferred
5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
