Responsibilities
Facilitating interactive virtual workshops centered on life competencies including communication, creativity, problem-solving, and self-management
Providing one-on-one and small-group mentorship to foster confidence, accountability, and executive function development
Leveraging platform analytics and student behavior patterns to customize support and monitor progress longitudinally
Partnering with peer educators to design and refine project-based learning initiatives on an ongoing basis
Cultivating a secure, energizing environment where students feel recognized, challenged, and inspired to develop
Qualification
Required
Available to begin on August 1st, 2026
Valid U.S. teaching certificate from any state, or an expired certificate eligible for reinstatement, transferable to Arizona certification
Minimum 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience in virtual or online environments utilizing videoconferencing platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams) and e-learning tools (Canvas, Google Classroom, or equivalent)
Minimum 3 years of experience mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or leading youth aged 8–14
Educated (K–16) within the U.S., Canada, or U.K. educational systems
Strong on-camera presence and confidence facilitating students through video
Willing to commit to full-time work, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm U.S. Mountain Time (Arizona time)
Willing to fulfill a hybrid role based in Arizona
