Principal Specialist, Program Cost Controls (Remote)

They are seeking a Principal Specialist in Program Cost Controls to support programs within the Resilient Connectivity Products portfolio, manage financials for multiple programs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Partner with Operations & Program Office functional teams to influence decisions to successfully execute production, development, and depot contracts
Oversee financials for multiple programs in a portfolio area
Program start up, maintenance & support including intercompany transfers processing, project setup, and NWA management
Earned Value Management cost/schedule control
Prepare weekly & monthly reports to include LRE development & financial variance analysis
Assist IPT with the coordination, development, and delivery of monthly financial forecasts
Preparation and Analysis of Quarterly EACs including cost analysis, risks, and opportunities
Interface with multiple cross-functional teammates & internal customers at different locations and time zones

Required

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with a minimum 3 years' experience in finance, accounting, business Administration or related field
Financial acumen and analytical critical thinking. Excellent ability to summarize findings and organize analysis for customers
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Demonstrated experience with SAP financial tools/systems and Earned Value Management
Extensive manufacturing/MRP experience in aerospace & defense industry
Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), & Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Excellent critical thinking, program solving, and resolution-making skills
Ability to meet critical deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and implement process improvement
Deep interpersonal/communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate to all levels of organization
Independent, self-motivated, and highly organized
Prior Program Controls Experience a plus
Active security clearance
