Responsibilities
Payroll Administration
Process weekly payroll accurately for hourly and salaried employees
Review, audit, and reconcile timekeeping data, tips, bonuses, commissions, and special pay
Ensure proper handling of PTO, leave balances, retro pay, and final paychecks
Maintain payroll records in accordance with company policy and legal requirements
Ensure payroll practices comply with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws
Manage garnishments, tax withholdings, benefit deductions, and year-end reporting (W-2s)
Support payroll audits and respond to payroll-related inquiries from leadership and external partners
Ensure data integrity within the payroll system and assist with building workflows, reports, and automated processes
Serve as a trusted resource for payroll questions, discrepancies, and pay explanations
Partner with HR to support onboarding, offboarding, job changes, and compensation updates
Communicate clearly and professionally with team members at all levels
Provide ongoing end user support to employees and managers, helping troubleshoot system or access issues
Lead and support employee training on payroll system usage, timekeeping procedures, and new system features
Serve as an integral part of the payroll system administration team, supporting configuration, testing, and continuous improvement
Maintain payroll and timekeeping systems with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls, and documentation
Collaborate with Finance and HR to ensure data integrity across systems
Qualification
Required
3+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in hospitality, resort, or multi-location environments
Strong knowledge of payroll laws, wage and hour compliance, and best practices
Experience with payroll and timekeeping systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom, UKG, Paylocity, or similar)
High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
