Software Engineer Intern - Summer, 2026
Sound Transit is a regional transit authority in the United States, and they are seeking a Software Engineer Intern for the summer of 2026. The intern will work closely with engineers and solution architects, contributing to the development of passenger-facing applications and supporting the IT development team with technical tasks.

Work closely with Engineers/Solution architects to conform to approved architecture and design
Surface technical risks in delivered code or products
Work on short term tasks for providing technical and project support to IT development team
Qualification
Required
Current college student in good academic standing
Enrolled in an accredited associate, bachelor's or graduate degree program in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant two-year certificate
Skills in Java or equivalent language, HTML, REST API, Mobile app development
Agile development methodologies, techniques, and principles
Preferred
Software development experience
