Responsibilities

Create and develop quality concepts for new product developments (PEP/APQP), series production, technology or process modifications, and production transfers
Track and report relevant KPI's / Goals, including counter measures
Initiate the escalation process if appropriate, support Plant Purchasing as required, including incoming inspection of purchased parts
Creation of inspection plans (for samples and/or serial production parts)
Analyze and communicate quality matters witin PEP project team, to gobal customers and suppliers (where necessary) also vial portals
In series production, excute supplier evaluation, manage supplier process changesand initiate and coordinate corrective actions, to sustainably ensure quality agreed
Drive the sampling inspection process and decide acceptance or rejection of samples provided. (PPAP Approvals)
Coordinate series production claim management and act as escalation facilitator to agree on remedial action plans until successful completion. Ensure corrective actions and root cause (D's) are submitted and acceptable
Collaborate on complaint cost evidence gathering with Plant Quality and Purchasing to support recovery of cost
Train suppliers to ensure adherence to APQP and PPAP requirements as agreed

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or min 2 yrs of experience in quality control, supplier, or similar role within manufacturing/engineering environment
Basic knowledge of Core Tools and methods (8D, APQP, PPAP, FEMS, SPC, MSA, Control Plans)
Proficient English language skills (minimum B2 level) combined with strong interpersonal abilities to foster effective collaboration with both internal teams and external suppliers
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
