Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver
Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools
Perform regression testing to verify defect fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues
Assist in setting up and maintaining test environments as needed
Provide clear and concise test reports and status updates
Qualification
Required
Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver
Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools
Perform regression testing to verify defect fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues
Assist in setting up and maintaining test environments as needed
Provide clear and concise test reports and status updates
Strong understanding of Agile development methodology and testing phases
Strong hands-on experience in developing automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver
Ability to write detailed, clear, and comprehensive test cases; execute test cases effectively
Basic understanding of automation testing concepts and tools (e.g., Selenium). Ability to write testing scripts using Selenium
Proficiency in defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or equivalent; ability to document defects with clear reproduction steps, severity, and priority
Keen observational skills to identify inconsistencies and defects
Ability to write and execute simple SQL queries to validate backend data
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics, and browser developer tools
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting
Ability to analyze requirements and design appropriate test scenarios
Experience or ability to coordinate test environment setup and configuration
Test Management Tools Experience
Preferred
Knowledge of performance and security testing fundamentals
Experience in mobile application testing
Familiarity with version control systems like Git
S100D specification knowledge
Azure DevOps familiarity
Selenium Experience with WebDriver for browser automation
