Payroll Specialist

Tate is an independent brand recognized as an industry leader in the development and manufacture of data center infrastructure solutions. The Payroll Specialist will process payroll for Tate’s U.S. employees and ensure compliance with payroll regulations while managing employee support related to pay.

Responsibilities

Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll for Tate U.S. employees
Review and validate time sheets, attendance records, and pay adjustments
Enter and audit payroll changes related to new hires, terminations, promotions, and compensation changes
Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, and other earnings
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws
Manage payroll tax filings and employee withholdings; partner with external payroll providers as needed
Generate regular and ad-hoc payroll reports for Finance, HR, and leadership
Support annual audits and tax reporting
Maintain accurate and confidential payroll files and employee data within payroll systems
Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies
Ensure proper documentation for payroll transactions
Serve as the point of contact for payroll-related inquiries
Provide timely responses regarding pay statements, withholdings, direct deposit, and deductions
Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy
Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands
Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System
Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service

Required

10+ years of experience in payroll or a related finance/HR role
Strong knowledge of payroll regulations including FLSA, state labor laws, tax, and withholding rules
Experience with payroll systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data tools
High attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy
