Provides direction, leadership, and day-to-day management of educational activities
Assisting the Physician Program Director, Chief Residents/Fellows, residents/fellows (trainees)
Serving as a liaison between attending physicians, trainees, medical students, and administration
Qualification
Required
HS Diploma or equivalent
One (1) year or more of experience in an advanced administrative support role requiring a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities, including responsibilities such as scheduling, timekeeping, budget adherence, and supply ordering or procurement
Must have advanced organization skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Outstanding professional/organizational and presentation skills
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills as well as effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and complete in a timely fashion
High level of integrity while working with sensitive and personal information
Basic knowledge and mastery of project management processes
Ability to work independently and autonomously
Strong computer, including use of Microsoft Office products
Preferred
Baccalaureate degree in education, healthcare administration, or related field
Previous experience in working directly with residents and interns, providers, and outside agencies to build relationships
