AMI Analyst III
SECO Energy is the third-largest electric co-op in Florida and the seventh-largest in the nation, seeking qualified candidates to join their team. The AMI Analyst III serves as the senior operational and technical expert responsible for the reliability and continuous improvement of the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Meter Data Management Systems (MDMS), ensuring accuracy and integrity of meter data while providing technical leadership to the AMI Analyst team.

Responsibilities
Serves as the senior operational and technical expert responsible for the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of SECO Energy’s Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Meter Data Management Systems (MDMS)
Ensures the accuracy, integrity, and availability of meter data advanced monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational analytics
Provides day-to-day technical leadership and direction to the AMI Analyst team, coordinating workload priorities, promoting best practices, and supporting consistent operational performance
Acts as the primary escalation point for complex AMI issues, partnering closely with the AMI Services Manager, IT, Billing, Engineering, and Member Services to ensure seamless system operations and exceptional service delivery
Guides, mentors, and supports team members and leads operational initiatives that enhance the overall effectiveness, reliability, and transparency of AMI systems
Qualification
Required
Minimum: Two (2) year associate degree from an accredited institution in a field that supports analytical, technical, or systems-based work relevant to AMI, utility operations, or information systems
Minimum: Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience supporting AMI systems, Meter Data Management Systems (MDMS), or related utility technologies
Ability to operate a variety of office equipment, including a personal computer, printers, copy machines and telephone
Ability to work irregular hours for assignment completion and flexibility to change scheduling and report to work on short notice during emergency situations
A valid Florida driver's license for occasional driving privileges of a company vehicle; must have and maintain an acceptable driving record as determined by SECO Energy
Normal work hours will be eight (8) hours Monday through Friday, between 6:00 am to 6:00 pm
Successful completion of pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen
Preferred
Four (4) year bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in in a field that supports analytical, technical, or systems-based work relevant to AMI, utility operations, or information systems
Coursework, certifications, or formal training related to information systems, data analysis, utility systems, networking, or project coordination
Experience in electric utility operations, AMI system optimization, or operational data analysis
Demonstrated experience providing technical leadership or mentoring within a collaborative team environment
