Responsibilities

Write, edit, proofread, and review technical and academic documents

Prepare publications, reports, white papers, fact sheets, and other written materials

Ensure clarity, accuracy, consistency, and adherence to quality‑assurance standards

Support the development of multimedia content, web features, press releases, and newsletter articles

Collaborate with faculty, staff, and subject‑matter experts to gather information and translate it into clear, accessible written content

Maintain version control, documentation, and editorial workflows

Qualification

Required

3 years of experience in technical writing, proofreading, editing, publication, review, and quality assurance

BA/BS degree in communications, journalism, English, or a related discipline

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

Preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Experience in technical or scientific writing

Demonstrated ability to independently research, write, and edit materials such as white papers, fact sheets, multimedia content, web features, press releases, and newsletter articles

Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
