InternRolls-Royce Power Systems is a company dedicated to shaping the modern world through innovative power solutions. As a Purchasing Intern, you will support series production and after-sales by operating as an associate buyer and assisting with various purchasing and organizational tasks.

Responsibilities
Operating as an associate buyer for selected materials and services to support series production and after-sales
Assisting with MRO (Maintenance Repair Operations) crib improvements, organization and systems updates
Assisting with the Vendor Tooling Database and tooling initiatives including inventory inspection, consolidation and scrapping
Working with MRO purchasing to update material class and classifications
Updating purchasing information for use on the mtu Intranet and online portal
Updating reports and sub-classification for SBA (Small Business Administration) suppliers and reporting
Keeping management informed on current workload, issues and future assignments
Adhering to company work hours, policies, procedures, and rules governing professional staff behavior
Adhering to company and professional ethics governing the handling of confidential information and the observation of confidentiality
Maintaining professional relationships with company employees, clients and customers, both internally and externally
Represent the company professionally in all interactions both internally and externally
Qualification
Required
Good oral and written communication skills
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others
Good organizational, planning and follow-up skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
Attending an accredited college/university and will be continuing your education after the internship
Working towards a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Business, Communications or related field
Minimum GPA: 3.0
Preferred
Interested in continuing as a student worker after Summer Internship
