Responsibilities
Lead a variety of tasks, including: discrete event simulations, data processing, and operational support
Work closely with Mechanical, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to develop functional prototype hardware of complex electro/mechanical systems
Drive technical innovation and exhibit consistent high-level of quality and speed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or above in engineering or equivalent
5+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience
Experience developing and executing test procedures for mechanical or electrical systems/components based on design intent and approved equipment submittals
Experience in test setup automation using MATLAB, Python, or Pearl
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
Preferred
Master's degree in engineering or equivalent
Experience with prototyping and implementation
3+ years of satellite communications ground systems and operations experience
Experience in creating products and services with hardware and software integrated
Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment
Experience effectively communicating complex concepts through written and verbal communication
Experience with integrated aerospace/avionics assemblies
Familiarity with vacuum systems, high-voltage testing, and environmental testing (thermal, vibration, EMI)
Experience with creating Design of Experiments
Familiarity with sensors, transducers, and data acquisition
