Responsibilities

Provide support to the Legal Department on a variety of routine legal matters under the general supervision of Corporate Paralegal
Be exposed to a wide range of issues and practice areas including, but not limited to, corporate, regulatory, banking, governance, and litigation matters
Support the team by reviewing contracts, extracting term dates and other relevant provisions, and adding completing data entry
Work under general objectives established by the department, utilizing a high level of initiative and discretion in prioritizing work and in performing duties that are confidential in nature

Required

Must be currently enrolled as a student from an accredited college or university
Requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, adaptability and attention to detail
Must be able to work independently, and gather and /or direct information and data
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Windows, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook

Preferred

Critical thinking skills and the ability to recognize opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of office operations preferred
