Responsibilities

Lead and manage the USUHS Drupal Content Management System and related web applications to ensure effective, reliable delivery of enterprise web hosting services

Ensure the stability, performance, and security of USUHS Drupal platforms through full lifecycle management, leveraging PHP, MySQL/MariaDB, Apache/NGINX, Linux, and related technologies

Apply advanced expertise in web technologies (including Drupal module development, PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML) to develop tailored solutions, resolve complex technical challenges, and maintain alignment with approved USUHS and DoD architectural standards

Maintain a strong cybersecurity posture for all supported applications, ensuring compliance with DoD security requirements, including RMF and STIGs, while safeguarding sensitive academic, research, and operational data

Partner with the USUHS CIO’s Office to support planning and execution of web content management and hosting modernization initiatives, including potential platform upgrades or rebuilds
