Responsibilities
Performs a variety of housekeeping duties, including sweeping, cleaning, disinfecting, washing, scrubbing and polishing. Uses a floor buffer to maintain hard floors and carpeting and uses a carpet extraction machine to perform water extraction of carpet
Performs manual lifting as required and moving, and rearrangement of furniture for class room setups and for after hours functions that take place
Assists in ordering supplies online and maintaining inventory of materials and supplies related to assigned work
Cleans windows, sweeps pavements, hoses sidewalks or performs additional duties as directed
Performs limited preventive maintenance on cleaning equipment as necessary
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior experience cleaning Commercial office space preferred
This position requires the incumbent to work holidays as needed
Position requires incumbent to climb ladders and work at a height of 12 feet on occasion
Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required for this role
Ability to move over 50 lbs using lifting aide equipment; Occasional (<20%)
