They are seeking a Summer Intern in Synthetic Molecule Pharmaceutics to engineer and characterize nanoparticle formulations for targeted drug delivery, while developing analytical methodologies and presenting research findings to cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
Engineered and characterized novel nanoparticle (NP) formulations for targeted drug delivery
Designed and executed a comprehensive nanoparticle platform, optimizing for enhanced targeted delivery efficacy
Developed and implemented novel analytical methodologies to evaluate and ensure high-level performance of lipid nanoparticle (LNP) systems
Conducted rigorous data analysis, precisely measuring key metrics including particle size, entrapment efficiency (EE%), and target density
Communicated and presented research findings and technical recommendations to cross-functional teams, facilitating platform development
Qualification
Required
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student)
Must be pursuing a Master's Degree (enrolled student)
Must be pursuing a PhD (enrolled student)
Strong foundational knowledge of organic and analytical chemistry principles
Demonstrated hands-on experiences in nanoparticle formulation preparation, synthesis, and comprehensive characterization
Adept at literature review and scientific troubleshooting to resolve experimental failures and guide research
Effective written and verbal communication skills for technical report generation and presentation of scientific data
Collaborated effectively within multidisciplinary teams
Required Majors: Chemistry and Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering and Materials Science Engineering
