IT Technician
Foreword Companies is seeking an IT Technician to support users by diagnosing and resolving issues related to computers and electronic devices. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software, managing user accounts, and providing training and guidance for staff on IT systems.

Responsibilities
Assist staff with their computer-related issues and provide technical support
Troubleshoot and repair computer hardware, software, and peripherals
Escalate complex computer or network issues to the appropriate resource or department
Work off of a ticketing system to manage and prioritize support requests
Create and manage Microsoft 365 (M365) user accounts and groups
Install and configure software applications and updates
Perform regular maintenance and updates on computer systems
Provide training and guidance for staff on using computer systems and software
Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses
Document and update IT procedures and troubleshooting guides
Collaborate with other IT team members to improve support processes and efficiency
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
Proficient in Microsoft 365 or related software
Ability to install, configure, and maintain applications for both Windows and Apple products
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Basic knowledge of network systems and their functionalities
At least one year of related training at a vocational school or community college
At least three years of experience in network maintenance and user technical support
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time
Must be able to travel to offsite assignments
Preferred
At least three years of experience in network maintenance and user technical support
Windows 11 and MacOS experience
A+, Network+, and/or similar certifications
