Infrastructure Engineering Intern - Summer 2026
Sound Transit is a public transit agency that oversees the development and implementation of engineering standards for various transportation modes. They are seeking an Infrastructure Engineering Intern to support their division by researching and gathering data to inform engineering standards related to infrastructure.

Responsibilities
Research and gather data using SharePoint and other electronic means
Read and interpret information on as-built drawings
Create databases to capture information and produce reports
Perform other entry-level technical/engineering tasks as necessary
Develop asset management database and index with GIS base systems
Draft and update standard repair procedures
Research and collect project data on grade crossings
Qualification
Required
Current college student in good academic standing
Enrolled in an accredited associate, bachelor's or graduate degree program in Civil/Structural Engineering or relevant two-year certificate
Knowledge of Civil 3D or equivalent program
