Head of Business Development and Capital Raising (Equity-based Compensation)

They are seeking a Head of Business Development and Capital Raising to build and maintain relationships with US-based investors, strategize capital raising efforts, and ensure alignment with the company's goals.

Responsibilities
Define and lead the capital-raising strategy for Alpha Hub, targeting US-based investors such as venture capital firms, private equity funds, and high-net-worth individuals
Develop tailored pitches highlighting Alpha Hub’s alignment with US investors’ focus areas, such as fintech, AI, blockchain, and innovative market solutions
Leverage existing investments and partnerships to build credibility and trust with US investors
Structure and execute co-investment opportunities, strategic partnerships, and syndicated rounds, including SAFE notes or convertible debt with downside protection
Frame investment opportunities as strategic early access to shape the future of private capital infrastructure
Identify and cultivate a pipeline of investors, using deep understanding of US cultural and business practices to build trust-based relationships
Arrange and lead high-touch investor meetings, private briefings, and roadshows in key US financial hubs (e.g., New York, San Francisco, Boston)
Coordinate investor communications, due diligence, and follow-ups with the executive team
Leverage personal networks and warm introductions to connect with venture capital firms, private equity funds, and high-net-worth individuals
Maintain detailed outreach activity and deal pipeline in CRM systems
Log meetings, investor notes, and follow-up tasks, tracking progress through structured dashboards
Lead the development of investor-facing materials (pitch decks, one-pagers, investor updates, videos), ensuring they are polished, compliant, and tailored to US investors’ expectations
Create compelling narratives showcasing Alpha Hub’s unique platform potential, exceptional team, and market validation (e.g., LOIs, partnerships, or advisor support)
Ensure materials mitigate reputation risks through high standards of professionalism and compliance
Drive investor lead generation through regional networks, referrals, and introductions
Implement strategies to offer exclusive early access and deal flow opportunities, appealing to US investors’ desire for unique prospects
Execute targeted outreach campaigns and virtual events to attract and nurture warm investor leads
Structure, lead, and close syndicated capital raises with regional syndicate leads, venture capital firms, and strategic institutions
Negotiate and manage the legal/financial structuring of co-investment partnerships, ensuring alignment with US investor preferences
Engage venture capital firms, private equity funds, and high-net-worth individuals to integrate them into Alpha Hub’s Founder’s Circle and ecosystem
Help shape Alpha Hub’s strategic evolution through investor feedback and partnerships
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in capital raising, business development, investor relations, or private placement
Demonstrated track record of closing multi-million-dollar raises from US-based investors, such as venture capital firms, private equity funds, or high-net-worth individuals
Active investor network in US markets, especially in financial hubs like New York, San Francisco, or Boston
Strong expertise in pitch deck creation, investor updates, video presentations, and investment storytelling
Sound knowledge of financial modeling, deal structuring, and tokenized asset frameworks
Ability to navigate challenges of raising capital for pre-revenue companies, addressing risk aversion and market competition
Understanding of the regulatory and legal frameworks for investments in the USA, including securities laws
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Economics; MBA or CFA preferred
Preferred
Experience with US-based private equity, venture capital, or fintech startups
Knowledge of tokenized assets and blockchain technology
Experience in cross-border investments and navigating geographical investment preferences
Familiarity with collaboration tools: Notion, Airtable, Google Workspace, HubSpot/CRM software
Based in or frequently working from major US cities like New York, San Francisco, or Chicago
