Snohomish County PUD is focused on providing essential electrical services and is seeking an Engineering Technician at either I or II level. The successful candidate will assist Engineering Technicians with projects related to the District's facilities and electrical system while providing basic technical and entry-level engineering services.

Assists Engineering Technicians with projects related to the District's facilities and electrical system to meet customer and District needs
Learns and provides basic technical and entry-level engineering services to enable the District to realize its goals and objectives

Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in EngineeringElectric Utility ExperienceEngineering Technician II TestDesign of Electric Systems

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field
Four (4) years of engineering, business, or utility experience (i.e., Electric Utility, Telecommunications, etc.)
Valid Washington State Driver's License with a good driving record
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field, AND One (1) year as an Engineering Technician for the District, AND Successful completion of Engineering Technician II written test with a score of 75% or greater
Four (4) years of engineering, business, or utility experience (i.e., Electric Utility, Telecommunications, etc.), AND One (1) year as an Engineering Technician for the District, AND Successful completion of Engineering Technician II written test with a score of 75% or greater
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field, AND Two (2) years of experience in the design, construction, and maintenance of electric distribution systems and facilities, with demonstrated proficiency and accomplishment of work of the nature defined of this job level
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field, AND Two (2) years as an Engineering Technician for the District
Four (4) years of engineering, business, or utility experience (i.e., Electric Utility, Telecommunications, etc.), AND Two (2) years as an Engineering Technician for the District
Six (6) years of experience in the design, construction, and maintenance of electric distribution systems and facilities, with demonstrated proficiency and accomplishment of work of the nature defined of this job level
