Responsibilities
Gather, clean, validate, and maintain operational datasets from multiple sources (AVL, CAD/AVL, scheduling software, fare systems, safety logs, maintenance records)
Develop recurring performance dashboards and reports (on-time performance, ridership, scheduling efficiency, operator performance, safety KPIs, etc.)
Analyze service delivery trends, operational anomalies, and performance gaps to support continuous improvement
Work with local teams to improve data accuracy, reporting processes, and system integration
Prepare monthly and quarterly performance packages for internal and external stakeholders
Support bid proposals, budgeting, and service planning with accurate data modeling
Identify operational inefficiencies and provide recommendations based on data findings
Assist with ad-hoc analyses for operations, HR, maintenance, safety, and executive management
Maintain documentation of data sources, report definitions, and analytics procedures
Ensure compliance with company data governance, confidentiality, and reporting standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Statistics, Transportation, Computer Science, or a related field; OR equivalent experience
2+ years of data analysis or reporting experience
Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, dashboards)
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Ability to analyze large datasets and summarize insights clearly
Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non‑technical teams
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
Preferred
Experience in transportation, logistics, or transit operations
Familiarity with systems such as Trapeze, Hastus, Swiftly, or similar scheduling/AVL platforms
Experience building automated reports using SQL, Python, or similar tools
Knowledge of KPI development and operational reporting methodologies
