5+ years expApexCore Technologies is seeking a Product Test Supervisor to lead a department team in meeting test schedules while ensuring quality and process improvement. The Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining productivity and safety, providing training, and overseeing all departmental activities.

Responsibilities
Supervise union hourly employees across 1st, 2nd or 3rd shifts
Set work assignments and objectives for hourly Lead Tester team
Set performance and quality expectations, assist employees to resolve testing problems
Maintain accurate time and attendance records using Kronos system
Ensure all employees have current and necessary training, maintain an orderly and safe work environment
Establish expectations of workmanship to meet quality requirements and follow work in process closely to assure that these are maintained
Investigate processes that are out of conformance and take appropriate action to eliminate
Work closely with others in Manufacturing Operations to assure compliance with the established Manufacturing Procedures and Engineering Instructions
Review processes and departmental layout to assure lowest production costs and highest shop labor efficiency
Participate in hiring process and develop training plans for new employees
Regularly assess employee performance to Company expectations, resolve employee problems, conduct investigations into safety, quality, or other incidents, and administer discipline within the corporate guidelines
Conduct investigations necessary related to quality, safety, or other production related matters
Comply with Collective Bargaining Agreement. Assist Human Resources in assessing bargaining strategies during negotiating periods
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering or with an associate's degree in a related area plus at least 5 years of manufacturing leadership and experience conducting electrical tests will be considered
Computer literacy is required
Utilization of Kronos Time keeping system and Microsoft Suite are required daily
Preferred
Strong knowledge and experience focusing on electricity and practical knowledge of transformers and switchgear is preferred
