Office Technician (Typing)
California Department of Health Care Access and Information is dedicated to enhancing healthcare access for Californians. The Office Technician (Typing) plays a key role in maintaining official health care facility construction project files and providing administrative support to the Office of Statewide Hospital Planning and Development (OSHPD).

Qualification
Required
The position(s) require(s) the ability to type at a minimum speed as designated on the Class Specifications
You must obtain a valid typing certificate confirming your ability to meet the minimum typing speed, prior to being hired
Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment
If you are meeting Minimum Qualifications with education, you must include your unofficial transcripts for verification
Official transcripts will be required upon appointment
Completed applications and all required documents must be received or postmarked by the Final Filing Date in order to be considered
Current version of the State Examination/Employment Application STD Form 678 (when not applying electronically), or the Electronic State Employment Application through your Applicant Account at www.CalCareers.ca.gov
Resume is required and must be included
Statement of Qualifications - Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required for this position
The SOQ is a separate document, and your response must be no more than two typewritten pages in length and include your first and last name and JC# at the top of each page
You must state the SOQ items below with your response to each item
Typing Certificate: State departments will honor typing certificates issued within the last four years, and certified from five (5) minute typing test that meets the CalHR requirements, with a minimum of 40 WPM (words per minute)
