Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain scalable system architectures that meet business requirements
Develop and manage ETL processes to ensure data integrity and availability across systems
Collaborate with IT teams to optimize cloud security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards
Lead the deployment of applications using AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms
Oversee system administration tasks, including load balancing, firewall management, VPN configurations, and DNS setup
Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement system hardening techniques to protect against threats
Utilize Agile methodologies to manage projects effectively within a DevOps environment
Engage in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices to streamline development workflows
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers on best practices in systems engineering and design
Qualification
Required
Strong background in systems engineering and design, with a focus on service-oriented architecture and solution architecture

Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including computer networking, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and virtualization technologies (VMware, ESXi)
Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL, Bash (Unix shell), and .NET
Familiarity with database management systems, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle
Understanding of cloud technologies, including AWS services and Azure solutions
Expertise in web services integration using RESTful APIs and SOAP protocols
Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Kubernetes, for microservices deployment
Familiarity with tools for debugging, scripting (Shell Scripting), version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), and threat intelligence frameworks
Strong analytical skills with experience in information security practices, including vulnerability management
