This role involves managing authorizations, resolving patient balances, and ensuring effective collections processes while working in a remote environment.

Responsibilities
Overseeing critical revenue cycle functions in partnership with a third-party Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) company
Serving as the primary liaison between the organization and the RCM vendor
Ensuring accurate authorization management
Timely resolution of patient responsibility balances
Effective collections processes
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in medical billing, insurance, or revenue cycle management
Experience with ABA, behavioral health, or healthcare billing
Strong working knowledge of: Insurance authorizations
Strong working knowledge of: Patient responsibility (deductibles, co-pays, coinsurance)
Strong working knowledge of: Collections workflows
Experience working with or overseeing a third-party billing/RCM company
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred
Experience with ABA billing codes (CPT/HCPCS) and payer-specific ABA requirements
Familiarity with common ABA payers and authorization models
Experience using EMRs and billing platforms commonly used in ABA organizations
