Responsibilities
Design and develop ETL data pipelines for ingestion, cleansing, transformation, and summarization
Work with large datasets in formats such as CSV, Parquet, JSON, etc
Develop data models and transformation logic using Databricks, PySpark, and SQL
Collaborate with data analysts and BI developers to support Power BI reporting and data visualization requirements
Optimize existing ETL processes and ensure scalability and performance tuning
Work on data quality, governance, and cleansing at a deep technical level
Navigate Azure Databricks UI, implement DLT pipelines, and integrate with ADF (Azure Data Factory)
Qualification
Required
12+ Years of IT Experience
9+ Years in Azure Data Engineering
Expertise in Databricks
Strong ETL development experience
Experience working with structured and unstructured data in various formats
Design and develop ETL data pipelines for ingestion, cleansing, transformation, and summarization
Work with large datasets in formats such as CSV, Parquet, JSON, etc
Develop data models and transformation logic using Databricks, PySpark, and SQL
Collaborate with data analysts and BI developers to support Power BI reporting and data visualization requirements
Optimize existing ETL processes and ensure scalability and performance tuning
Work on data quality, governance, and cleansing at a deep technical level
Navigate Azure Databricks UI, implement DLT pipelines, and integrate with ADF (Azure Data Factory)
Preferred
Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, ADF, and Power BI integration
Strong programming proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark
Deep understanding of data cleansing and validation techniques
Familiarity with Azure ecosystem tools for data engineering and automation
Experience working with public sector or government clients is a plus
