Responsibilities
Monitor and troubleshoot production processes to ensure stable, efficient, and safe operation
Analyze process data to identify bottlenecks, variability, and improvement opportunities
Lead optimization projects focused on yield, energy use, cycle time, and waste reduction
Support PSM activities, including hazard analyses, MOCs, and operating procedure updates
Develop and update process documentation such as PFDs, P&IDs, and operating guidelines
Collaborate with operations, maintenance, EHS, and quality teams on technical issues
Specify equipment changes and support capital projects with process design input
Participate in root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
Experience in chemical manufacturing, batch or continuous processing, or similar industries
Strong understanding of unit operations, process control, and safety principles
Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and communicate clearly across teams
Familiarity with PSM-regulated environments and process engineering tools
