Responsibilities
Facilitating one-hour life skills workshops for K-2 students, providing coaching and reinforcing literacy skills introduced by Reading Specialists
Inspiring students to progress through adaptive learning applications and meet their weekly academic targets
Guiding emotional regulation, resilience, and problem-solving through consistent structure paired with warmth
Monitoring student development and needs, identifying concerns early, and refining approaches in partnership with your team
Building a classroom environment that is structured, engaging, and individualized
Qualification
Required
Must be available to work full-time and in-person at our campus location in Chicago, IL; Miami, FL; Palo Alto, CA; San Francisco, CA; or Santa Monica, CA
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in any discipline
3+ years of hands-on experience with children ages 4–8 in educational settings, afterschool programs, coaching, or comparable roles
Strong storytelling ability and dynamic presentation skills: capable of capturing and maintaining the attention of young children in group settings
Capacity to maintain high expectations for both yourself and students, and motivate children to achieve their goals
Growth-oriented mindset and receptiveness to coaching
Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship
