Responsibilities

Perform as leads for all shifts and as first responder to equipment emergencies, performing and managing maintenance, operating complex building systems, and ensuring safety compliance
Responsible for 24-hour monitoring and operation of HVAC, boilers, chillers, and utility plant equipment
Acts as a first responder to stationary equipment failures and implements safety procedures
Perform, and/or oversee maintenance staff and vendors performing, repairs on complex mechanical and electrical systems
Ensure operations meet safety, environmental, and building codes
Directs the work of junior technicians or maintenance staff for all shifts
Other duties as required by the Program Manager and/or contract requirements

Required

Previous experience working in a 600,000+ sf facility
1st Class Engineer License MD or DC
ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Certification
Stationary Engineer certification
Boiler Operators License for Low Pressure Boilers
Class 1 Power Engineer
7 to 10+ years of experience in HVAC, utility plant operations, and stationary engineering (Federal facilities preferred)
Ability to direct and coordinate activities for other workers involved in system maintenance
Demonstrated skill and comfort in proactively building relationships
Innovative thinker, with a track record for translating and executing strategic plans
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to effectively interface with all levels of management and maintenance personnel
Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance (TS preferred) or the ability to obtain a Secret or Top Secret Clearance
