Responsibilities
Conduct supplier market research and obtain documentation for solicitation efforts
Evaluate supplier information to determine the most desirable suppliers
Drive the completion of compliant FAR15 packages
Support negotiations including price, terms, and conditions
Manage key program suppliers
Build supplier strategies to enable the best overall value
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be able to work directly for our company on W2
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, L&C, Business, or Finance
Must be a US Person due to contractual requirements
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree
Experience with DoD procurement subcontracting (FAR15)
Strong understanding of DoD Procurement Life Cycle
Experience with Federal Acquisitions Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations
Strong negotiation skills and processes
Supply chain experience within defense, aerospace, or similar industry
Experience managing subcontracts such as FFP, CP, CPIF, etc
Experience with Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (TCPD)
Ability to understand and negotiate terms and conditions
