Responsibilities
Provide leadership on a fast paced team from requirements through development and production
Be responsible to assure coordination between functional groups during the product development life cycle
Communicate technical status and issues internally to program leadership, technical leadership and functional leadership as well as externally to the customer
Conducting personnel management for a portion of the Circuit Card Assembly enterprise team
Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection, and training
Responsible for performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions
Participate in technical reviews and audits
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment
Electronics hardware design, development and test experience of avionics electronics, at the circuit card and unit level
Project leadership in electronics hardware design
Experience in the development including product ownership responsibility for missile, space, or equivalent high reliability applications
Project lead in electronics hardware design with a track record of success in meeting technical, schedule, and cost objectives
8+ years of professional experience
A current DoD Secret clearance or greater; thus US Citizenship is required
Preferred
Demonstrated experience with Avionics Architecture (physical / functional)
Understanding of analog and digital circuit design and analysis
Ability to interpret and create electrical schematics
Experience with Test and Measurement Equipment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Aerospace experience supporting development of Flight Hardware
Certified Product Engineer or Responsible Systems Integration engineering experience
Missile System design experience
Supply chain technical oversight experience including proposal support and technical evaluations
Demonstrated experience with electronics packaging
Demonstrated excellent written and oral communications skills are required, with an ability to address diverse audiences, such as customer reviews, management meetings, etc
