Responsibilities
Lead and configure core D365 Finance modules, including:
Vendor invoice processing, approvals, and payment runs
OCR-enabled invoice capture and automation
Customer invoicing and collections
Revenue posting and financial integration
Chart of accounts and posting profiles
Financial dimensions and period close processes
Budgeting and forecasting
Financial reporting and management insights
Own the configuration and delivery of project-centric finance capabilities, including:
Project setup, structure, and budgeting
Cost tracking and revenue recognition
Project invoicing (T&M, fixed price, milestones)
Integration of AI / OCR capabilities for:
Vendor invoices
Expenses and project-related costs
Configure D365 Finance and Project Accounting modules
Design workflows and approval processes
Translate business requirements into functional designs
Guide developers on integrations, extensions, and customizations
Support reporting via Power BI and SSRS
Participate in testing, UAT, cutover, and go-live activities
Work directly with client finance, PMO, and IT stakeholders
Collaborate closely with KPMG and other implementation partners
Lead functional discussions, design reviews, and solution decisions
Qualification
Required
8+ years of ERP Finance / Project Accounting experience
Strong hands-on experience with D365 Finance
Proven delivery experience with Project Accounting / Project Operations
Deep understanding of AP, AR, GL, FP&A processes
Experience implementing OCR / invoice automation solutions
Strong stakeholder communication and leadership skills
Preferred
Exposure to D365 Supply Chain modules: Procurement & sourcing, Inventory management, Basic warehousing concepts
