Responsibilities

Staffing support to all space systems and space programs
Conducting periodic performance evaluations, including mid-year and annual reviews
Providing technical leadership and guidance to the staff
Managing indirect and capital needs
Training of the Spacecraft Operations Team
Professional development and mentoring of direct reports
Supporting Functional Homeroom initiatives and projects which include process improvement, Event Response Teams, Corrective, and Preventive Action implementation
Leading a team of Engineering Technicians
Develop technical execution plans to meet program schedules
Coordinating mechanical tasks between all disciplines
Providing mechanical operation status to upper management and the customer
Other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree with 5 years of professional experience – OR – Master's degree with 3 years of professional experience. Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance, SCI access, and complete a Counterintelligence Polygraph examination prior to start
Minimum 9 years of combined experience supporting one or more of the following: integration, test, or assembly of electrical/mechanical flight hardware
Minimum of 2 years of experience leading a team or projects
Familiarity with facility processes and training
Experience within the Aerospace and Defense industry

Preferred

Bachelors of Science Degree in a technical field
Past Military Leadership
Experience providing technical product support to a customer or a business
Experience establishing goal driven deadlines
Experience supporting hardware work packages
Skilled at providing presentation briefings to all levels of the business
