Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support enterprise-level LAN/WAN network infrastructure
Administer and optimize Palo Alto firewall environments, including security policies, threat prevention, and network segmentation
Configure, deploy, and maintain secure VPN connectivity solutions
Support low-latency, high-availability network infrastructure supporting business-critical and trading environments
Monitor network performance, capacity, and availability to ensure optimal uptime and reliability
Implement redundancy, failover, and disaster recovery strategies for network systems
Troubleshoot complex routing, switching, firewall, and connectivity issues
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to support strategic technology initiatives
Maintain documentation for network architecture, configurations, and operational procedures

Required

7+ years of hands-on network engineering experience
Strong expertise in managing Palo Alto firewalls and VPN technologies
Deep knowledge of LAN/WAN design, routing protocols, switching, and network redundancy
Proven experience supporting high-availability, low-latency network environments
Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization capabilities
Experience working within complex enterprise infrastructure environments

Preferred

Experience working in financial services or other regulated industries
Familiarity with trading infrastructure or latency-sensitive network environments
Knowledge of network security frameworks, compliance standards, and best practices
Experience working in hybrid or cloud-connected network architectures
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
Industry certifications such as PCNSE, CCNP, or equivalent are strongly preferred
