Responsibilities
Drive design from blue sky concept through a coherent and resolved architecture
Contribute novel design solutions to new and existing challenges, aspiring to think different
Prototyping new product ideas by 3D modeling, fabricating, and assembling mockups
Qualification
Required
BS Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required; MS preferred
10+ years designing consumer electronics or similarly complex products
3D CAD modeling – i.e., NX (preferred), SolidWorks, ProE
excellent communication skills—your ideas are only as good as your ability to share them
Preferred
Experience selecting appropriate engineering materials and manufacturing methods (CNC, forming, injection molding, rapid prototyping, etc.)
able to characterize designs, run DOEs, and conduct root cause failure analysis
