Responsibilities
Help EUD achieve regulatory goals by ensuring adherence to the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination Systems (NPDES) permits and water compliance standards
Conduct inspections, sampling and analysis across EUD divisions
Report and collaborate to implement best practices that maintain compliance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in biology, chemistry, physics, environmental science or a closely related field
Possession of a valid California driver's license by date of appointment
Two years of regulatory compliance enforcement including sample collection and analysis experience similar to an Environmental Compliance Specialist I with the City of Roseville
Possession of a valid Stormwater Environmental Compliance Inspector Certificate within 18 months of appointment
