Entry Level/ Junior Army Fires Modeling and Simulation Developer

Responsibilities
Fires M&S Developer designs and conducts Army Fires analysis using the modeling and simulation tools such as the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration and Modeling (AFSIM) in support of the Army’s Total Army Analysis (TAA) and other applications
Developer designs and scripts AFSIM scenarios in support of analytic requirements
Deliverables include AFSIM scripts and scripts in support of automation and file management (C++, bash, Python, etc.)
Qualification
Required
BS degree in a technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Math, Engineering) requiring substantial programming/coding experience and 0-3 years of work experience required
Functional application/ some proficiency with programming languages (C++, Python, etc.)
Proficiency in C/C++ or Python
A SECRET security clearance/ ability to obtain a SECRET clearance is required
Preferred
Familiarity with developing on Linux
Familiarity with AFSIM
Familiarity with Army systems/ Army Fires systems
