Responsibilities
Design and implement container-based development and test environments that run consistently across local machines and cloud infrastructure
Build services and tooling for environment provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management
Develop and maintain IDE extensions/plugins for VS Code and JetBrains IDEs to integrate the platform directly into developer workflows
Enable seamless debugging, build, and test workflows across local and cloud-hosted environments
Qualification
Required
4+ years experience in Python, Go, TypeScript, Java, or Kotlin
2+ years experience with Docker and container-based workflows
2+ years experience deploying and operating services on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
BS in computer science or equivalent experience
Preferred
Experience with dev container specifications or similar environment definition standards
Background in platform engineering or developer productivity tooling
Familiarity with Kubernetes and multi-tenant infrastructure
Experience developing IDE extensions or plugins
Experience in VS Code: TypeScript, Node.js, VS Code Extension API
Experience in JetBrains IDEs: Kotlin/Java, IntelliJ Platform SDK
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform)
Understanding of networking, authentication, and secure access patterns for developer tooling
Strong troubleshooting and system design skills
