Responsibilities
Maintaining and repairing hatchery specific equipment
Operating and performing minor repairs to construction equipment, boats, and other tools and vehicles
Repairing and maintaining roadways, the interior and exterior of buildings, and other structures as needed
Identifying and setting up for major repairs to be completed by other agency personnel or non-agency vendors
Weed eating, litter picking, mowing access areas and dams, repairing damaged concrete launch ramps, installing signage, servicing mowers and tractors, and other miscellaneous tasks
Qualification
Required
Two years of experience operating commercial or industrial-use wheeled or tracked motor vehicles used in grounds keeping, outdoor construction work, agriculture, mining, or forestry work; or
Two years of semi-skilled work experience in commercial building or plant maintenance and repair work; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training
You must possess an active motor vehicle license
You must either possess at the time of hire, or obtain within the probationary period, a Class B commercial driver's license (CDL) with Tank Endorsement and Air Brake Restriction lifted
You must be willing and able to work in adverse weather conditions
You must be willing to be called in to work in emergency situations
You must be willing to work some weekends
You must be able to perform essential job functions
