Responsibilities

You will serve as an advisor to management in evaluating the effectiveness, productivity and efficiency of the Division's programs and administrative operations/functions
You will develop work operations, new/modified work methods, management processes, and administrative procedures for program operations
You will gather, compile and evaluate facts to make conclusions and recommendations to program and administrative operations concerning organization's program
You will provide financial/budgetary management/tracking/maintenance/development/analysis and administrative support to the Division Head and Program Managers including ensuring all errors are corrected in a timely manner
You will accomplish office operations and management, coordinate administrative policies and procedures and provide direction on the implementation of administrative and clerical work for correspondence, timekeeping, travel and records management
You will prepare Division presentations, financial charts, spreadsheets, plans and reports to carry out financial responsibilities

Required

Must be a US Citizen
Must be determined suitable for federal employment
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program

Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326
Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites
You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NG-3 pay band (GS-7 and GS-8 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Coordinating clerical administrative duties for an organization or program
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NG-2 pay band (GS-5 and GS-6 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing clerical administrative duties for an organization or program
A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education

Preferred

A master's or equivalent graduate degree in a field of study directly related to the position
Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's or equivalent graduate degree in a field of study directly related to the position
An LL.B. or J.D., if related to the position being filled
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience
One full year of graduate level education in a field of study directly related to the position
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience
